Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026. These terms explain how Jahan Studio provides its website design and development service.

1. Who we are

Jahan Studio is operated by Jahan Rostam Yazdi, a sole trader based in England.

2. The service

We provide one fixed-price website design and development service. The exact pages, content, features and timing for a project are agreed in the project agreement, brief or email confirmation.

Unless agreed in writing, the project does not include domain registration, hosting, paid fonts, stock images, third-party subscriptions, advertising, ongoing maintenance, legal compliance review or services outside the agreed website project.

3. Price and payment

The total project fee is £800. A £300 deposit is due before work begins. The remaining balance is due after you approve the completed website and before files, ownership, handover materials or setup instructions are provided.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Jahan Studio does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

4. Revisions and future changes

One full revision round is included in the project fee. You may request as many changes as you need during that round, including substantial changes.

Once that included revision round is complete, later revisions, additions and future manageable updates are charged hourly. We will confirm the expected cost before starting any chargeable work.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel in writing before the first website version is delivered. In that case, we will refund the £300 deposit in full.

Once we have delivered the revised website that completes the included revision round, the £300 deposit is non-refundable. This reflects the work completed and project time reserved for you.

You may decide not to pay the remaining balance. In that case, you will not receive the website files, ownership, launch materials or setup instructions, and the deposit will not be refunded.

If Jahan Studio cannot provide the agreed service for reasons not caused by you, we will discuss a fair refund for work not supplied.

Consumer rights: nothing in these terms removes any statutory right you may have. If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel in the 14 days after making the agreement. Where you ask us to start work during that period, we will begin only after your express request. Any statutory cancellation rights take priority over this policy. To cancel, email jahanrostamyazdi@gmail.com with your name, project details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying accurate and lawful text, images, logos, contact details and decisions in a reasonable timeframe. You confirm that you have permission to use the materials you provide. Delays in receiving them may move the project timeline.

7. Pause or abandonment

If you do not respond or provide necessary materials for 30 days, we may pause the project. If there is no response for 60 days, we may close it. Restarting later is subject to availability and may require a new agreement.

8. Ownership and handover

Once the full project fee has been paid, you receive the completed website files and may use them for your business. Until then, Jahan Studio retains ownership of work created for the project.

You are responsible for buying, owning and paying for your own domain name and hosting account. We provide clear handover guidance, but we do not provide ongoing maintenance after handover.

9. Third-party services

Stripe, Netlify, domain registrars and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and may charge you directly. We are not responsible for their availability, prices, policies or changes to their services.

10. Limitation of liability

We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jahan Studio's total liability in connection with a project is limited to the amount paid to us for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

11. Complaints and governing law

Please contact us first at jahanrostamyazdi@gmail.com if something is wrong. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future projects. The version published on this page is the current version.
